Not too bad over here. Heavy overcast and 53* at the moment. Supposed to rain the next two days so no work on the mustang this week Did get a couple of parts to finish the intake on my truck though.
I got a piece of 4 inch turbo coupling (about 2' worth) and a piece of 4 inch exhaust pipe. Not the prettiest set up, but it at least gets the air filter off the top of the engine
Welcome to free beer Wednesday! As long as it works is don't have to be pretty. I have some copper pipe in my jeep we rigged up about 15 years ago to keep the coolant hose from rubbing on the top pulley when the motor has a little torque applied to it. Used to go through one every month or so, but it hasn't happened since.
that's the only issue that i see you running into. especially if your filter starts getting a little clogged up! what is your idea to fix it if it does? i was gonna say a spring but then that would defeat the purpose of the cold air intake cause the spring wouldn't exactly be condusive to smooth airflow....LOL
