Cab bolts

Doe's anyone have the torque spec's for the cab mounting bolts for a 57 F 100 ?They are not in the service manual

Can't say what the manual recommends but a 1/2" grade 5 bolt would be about 80 ft. lbs

Well now I'm just guessing here. But if you try to torque them down extremely tight wouldn't you squish the rubber mounting pad and never get a true torque value?

I think you would get a torque value and a compressed rubber. When I installed side steps to my 99 Chev 1/2 ton the torque requirements were 65 ft lbs, they are metric bolts can't recall the size but I think they would be close to a 7/16 in a standard size, there is however rubber mounts on these trucks also.
