1960 F350 duals
#2
I'll admit I'm a little confused by the question. A 1960 F-350 dually would (according to the parts books) use wheels having what's called an "in-out coined mount" with 6 lugs x 7.25" bolt circle. That's a single 90° lug nut design, not a dual inner and outer cap nut design like used on the bigger trucks. The studs are 5/8" x 18 tpi and take a 1" hex socket. The Budd part numbers for these nuts are #67147 (right hand thread) and #67148 (left hand thread). The National Wheel and Rim Association (NWRA) numbers are X-1148 and X-1149 respectively. If you are seeing a square faced inner nut it's likely your truck has had a rear end swap at some time in its life. If that's what you are seeing there is a special Budd square drive socket that you can buy, or you can use a 13/16" hex socket on it. Remember that you'll have both right hand and left hand threads.
