hi, Question for all who have done this set up. I'm looking to do the same. I have the Rancho 9000's and ordering the Procomp Springs this week. My question is what U-Bolts? I see some people had them made others bought other brands. Do the front and rear need be be changed or are any long enough. I plan to remove the factory rear blocks so the truck will sit level. I' m just trying to have all the parts ready. Thanks.

Parts list
I've had the 2002 excursion fro 8 years before I decided to put this lift on it. I put the lift on last weekend and it went smoothly. I didn't want to have u-bolts made b/c I wanted all the parts in the garage so I didn't have to stop. Here is my parts list.
Parts for lift:
Front U-bolts - Only need two w/ nuts for the driver's side: Pro Comp 13-90510A, passenger side u-bolts are long enough
Rear U-bolts w/ nuts: Tuff Country U-Bolts 17752
Drop pitman arm: 70201 Tuff Country - Pitman Arm
Trackbar bracket: Tuff Country 20904
Front Shocks: Rancho RS999264 RS9000XL Series Shock
Rear Shocks: Rancho RS999275 RS9000XL Series Shock
Rear Springs: Pro Comp 22415 5" Rear Leaf Spring, remove the rear OEM 2" blocks
Front Springs: Pro Comp 22210 Black Powdercoated Leaf Spring
Front and rear wheel well measurement are the same at 42" w/ 285/75r16 tires. But these tires only measure 31" when on the car. Even though both ends are at 42" the car is not level. I put my 4' level on the roof and the back sit about 1/2-3/4" lower than the front.
I am planning on putting on 315/75 and still fitting in the garage which is 7'.
I ran the truck for a week before putting on the drop pitman arm and track bar bracket. The drop pitman arm is a good idea but I do not like the track bar drop bracket. It seems like it over compensates and actually pushes the axle 1/2" too far towards the passenger side. I'm still brainstorming on how to fix this. I'd like to put the stock bracket back on but I think you need a drop bracket if you run a drop pitman arm.
Next up is the 2007 front grill, lights, tires, and maybe wheels. My tire store said they'd put 315's on the stock 16x7 rim.

I'll look into the adjustable track bar but I think I'll try to fix the mount first. The ride is much better than stock.

No, but I only had it for a week w/ the stock pitman arm. But I noticed the steering was a little stiffer after the lift w/ the stock pitman arm. The drop pitman arm made the steering easy again like stock.
