Ford unibody mustang 2 install
Ive been working on my 61 uni alot lately and I got my mustang 2 and I need to figure out where the stock center location is for the front wheels. I also want to move it forward to center the wheels in the fenders. My truck had a volare front end in it and the cut ALOT of the frame out. I remade the frame from the cab mounts forward. Any input is appreciated.

Stock is 114 inches from the center line of the rear axle. Measure up 115 and that will give you the inch of stretch. You can also use the upper clutch mount bolt blind nut. This to center line will be approximately 12 1/2 inches give or take a bit forward of this for a 115" wheelbase.
This will better center the front wheel in the fender well. Most kits are designed to do this.

It will all be custom work, quite frankly not worth it as the chevrolet design will interfere with the common ford oil pans.
Remember Chevys have the oil pump in the rear allowing a real shallow front pan. The only ford motors with a similar profile is the new modular 4.6 and 5.4s. you really have to set the ford engine high in the bay to accommodate this design.
