lift is going on!

ok so this weekend my 1996 f250 is getting its f350 front axle swap done and 6in skyjacker put on if i have time, my ??? is iam going from 285 tires to 37 in tires some pep say it helps fule and some say it hurts it, i have 410 so is it going 2 hurt or help?? thanks all

Your rpm's will go down highway driving with the taller tire but I don't think it will affect your mileage much. It may be a hair better, but you will catch a little more wind raising the truck too so my bet is no change to speak of....

It also takes a little more power to turn a bigger tire

I'd say worse mileage around town, maybe a little better on the highway.
