da-n i'm awake now !!!!!!!!!!! thanx ross !!!!!!!!!! hey all you nerds in detroit watch that and listen then maybe you can begin to understand why we don't want the wrong wheel drive sissy 4 and 6 cylinder powered crap your offering us !!!!!!!!!!!!! da-n i'm hyped and ready to go out and abuse the bird on a backroad somewhere !!!!!!!!!!!! now as for mr. block , well ........ i don't particularly care much for any new driver in the last 10-15 years as most of 'em are whiny a--es with minimal talent and parents with money { like algier here stu dog !!!!!! }. but the more i watch ken the bigger fan i become . he'd be a fantastic driver in any form of auto sports and i love watching him and i am so impressed by his control ............... as a sidenote i participated in a couple of gymkhanas a long time ago . looked like blocks video kinda , and sounded like the fairlane .... i was in an extremely nose heavy 74 monte carlo with a factory 454 { closed chamber heads , oe aluminum intake , holley 750 , comp 270 cam , headers , a little blue bottle in the trunk , etc. } and the only reason i say it looked like that is due to the fact i was in one outta control powerslide then another trying to herd that beast throught the course . got every cone in it too i'm proud to say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s the bird runs a 15.10@ 93 in the 1/4 eman with a 4.6 what was your old 49 running for power for comparisons sake ???????????????????

watched the 64 video and can say it really doesnt surprise me, can you say american V8 horsepower. i was stationed in germany for a few years and it was always nice to see american muscle with numbers on the doors and fenders full of stickers sitting in parking lots before and after the races. As for the little ford, i dont recall ford ever made a 2-stroke. just kidding. that guy can drive for sure. there is something really strange that happens in my head when my ears hear those little engines bouncing off the rev limiter for so long. And that park brake lever looks like a shifter in a peterbilt.

When you were stationed in Germany did you get to drive the 'Ring? I got to, but in nothing as fast as that Fairlane. It was back in 1971 and I flogged by Beetle around there chasing a 2CV. Fourteen miles on that track in that Beetle took a whole lot longer to cover than in that Fairlane. Stu

no Stu, never got to drive the "ring". raised alot of hell on the autobahn with a rented vw golf and my buddy had a bmw 318 that was a blast. i could tell some stories about that 318 but i dont know if the statute of limitations has run out yet. and dont laugh about that vw golf, you know they dont have the same limits on them over there as they do in the states. i would have loved to bring that car back if you didnt have to change it to meet US regulation. this is really off the track but the highlight was going about 200mph on the back of my platoon sgt. ninja sport bike. there are no dotted lines at 200 mph.
