Anyone for some photoshop work?!?

Hey guys. My wide tires have been throwing up some stones that are chipping the paint on the bottom of the rockers. I like the look of the truck the way it is, and dont want to add any flares or flaps if i dont have to.

So i decided I am going to get my rockers Line-X. I am trying to decide weather i want to colour match the two-tone, or do the two-tone black. Before I do it I would like to see what it would look like with black-textured rockers and factory flares.

Who's up for it?!? Greatly appretiated.

Running boards are what protect the lower doors and rockers the absolute best. If you don't like running boards you could have a stone protection done and than sprayed the same exact way it is now (base and clear) if you like. Another great way to protect the paint is to get invisasheild, it will protect against rock chips and you won't have to paint anything.

I actually just put on some n-fab steb bars that i had Line-xed a couple days ago. They do look like they will add good protection. Maybe i will hold off on the rocker coating and see if these running boards do the trick.

Thanks.

personally if you had problems yet after the running boards I would go with the invisaguard stuff. Won't even know its there.

personaly i would rather have rockchips then a linex'd body panel..

that stuff is ok for inside teh box but it looks terrible on the outside panels..makes your vehicle look like a bush beater if you ask me..

Check out the Huskyliner Mud Gaurds. Custom made to fit your truck. Not a generic one-fits-all. Can be painted too.

I have a set on my F350 and they look nice.

I personally hate the look of spray on liner on the outside of the truck. Imo it makes it look like you did a cheap, nasty body repair. I would go the invisishield route.

Well we both have different opinions i suppose...

I've seen some work that my local Line-X guy does on body panels and it is very nice. Its not nearly as thick and textured as what he does in the bed...I think I'm off the black stuff. In that case, if I colour matched it, you probly wouldnt know its their until you touched it.

Thanks, I'll look into this.

Been there done that. They dont fit with my big tires... Even tried Duraflaps "lifted truck mudflaps" that come with custom brackets...Still don't clear!
