those diesel tempos are great cars. i would love to have one.
just watch the mileage and the timing belt. they are interference engines. if you run the mileage too high without changing the timing belt and it breaks, you will destroy the engine.

Cheap-***, Lazy-***, Half-assed. Sounds like my wife, I'm such an ***. lol. Already replaced the belts on the Tempo with NAPA replacements, good ones that should last. I live in Muncie, IN.

i myself would have done the patch panels different , but im not saying my way on the cheap would be anybetter, the paint looks great yet, ultimately as long as you like it who cares what everyone else thinks. i just did cheap rust repair on my 95 and duplicolor paint, i will have $100 into it when im done this week. again great job on doin your truck on the cheap

wow. I've been looking into these $50 paint jobs and I'm digging the results. I have a '90 F250 4x4 and as usual the factory paint is in bad shape. this would make it look so much better.

How much prep work do you do. Ive got a 73 that still has some paint but most of its gone. Do you sand everything off down to metal or what?
