1957 F-100

Hi, I'm new to FTE but like what I see. I have a 1957 F-100 that I started and stalled on quite a while back. I am converting it to 4 wheel drive using parts from a '78 and a '75 F-250. Any help or positive comments would be appreciated.

Welcome to FTE! I've considered doing what yer doing, and it sounds like a fun project. The front axle will be the right width, but the rear from the mid-70's will be a little wider than original. But a pre-73 Dana 60 rear would work....8 lugs of course. Good luck!

Goodluck on the 57/cool sounding 4 x 4 project. I've got a two wheel drive 58, and I like the 57's best of all the fridges. I think they have a nicer grill and I prefer the single headlights.

Sounds great goodluck
