Dent cranks but no start

Thanks to Rich, I now have a functional ignition switch. I drilled out my old key cylinder and the one from Rich fit and works perfectly. Now to figure out why it has no spark. It spins over nice but has no spark. I put a test light on the positive primary lead on the coil, cranked it over and the light just glows, no flash at all. I have battery voltage to it. Points are opening and closing. I'm guessing bad coil but SWMBO has the car about an hour away helping her aunt, I'm also working on a 99 Ranger for son's best friends' Nan, the friend wrecked it an Nan needs wheels. I'm SOL on chasing any parts. I don't have a digital multimeter here, I forgot it at work, so I am unsing my old analog one. Any ideas of where to stumble from here?

Thanks,
Chip.

Any help here?

Sorry to say electrical issues are not my forte, sounds like the coil is the problem, I think.

I have 3 of those setting around to ch stuff like that, but I'm a Ford parts horder.

that was one of the things I thought but they're correct as well. I'm thinking junk coil.
