I was asking abut the grill shell. Yours looks so good in the pics I was curious. I saw in the LMC catalog that they had a chromed steel stamped one & would love to see one to see the quality.
John
Hey John, I was just looking at the LMC catalog online and you're right. You can get those in steel chrome....pretty cool. The piece I have on there now is original from the factory in 77, and although it has a few scratches on it, I think I'll leave that there....tough call, cause at car shows, they don't care if it's original, only if it's perfect and/or without flaw. I've talked to a few Ford factory guys as well as my rigs previous owner and because these were work trucks, you won't find many originals on the road today that are in the condition mine is in and there's 3 little dents in the aluminum that showed it was from an original American stamp from Ford that you won't find in the aftermarket ones. The stamps were destroyed way back when.
I bet that steel chrome one would look real sharp on there.
Not too bad. Got two mice in the shed last night. So I reset for tonight!!
What kind of traps do you use? We had a big problem last year at our house and used the little walk-in ones. They worked great as we got most of them. The problem was, they just kept coming and coming and we didn't see any progress, so we used Decon, which allows them to fill up and bring it back to the nest to feed the rest of them.
The tin cats work really good. They have them at home depot. I had 10 mice in one once and cleared out close to 40 in two weeks in the barn a few years ago. The ultrasonics also work good to keep them out.
