Vermont September BS thread - lets head to fair

Jim nice pics.
I could have without seeing the rims on the first mustang though
Looks like it was a good time.
I contemplated going but after driving all Saturday I really didn't want to drive another few hours (1.5hr for me to get there). I even toyed with the idea of going to an auto-cross in Portland but that was even further away.

And
I could win "most rotted" with the wagon. I just need a bunch of mirrors to show the underside...
Also muscle car people tend to look down on the 4 cylinders. The 4 cylinders just a few short years ago, were the way of the future. But with the recent technological advances in the 310HP V6 @ 30mpg and 400HP V8 @ 20+ mpg that might be changing.

Want to know what is kinda funny. I could probably get a little focus contingent to enter.

Must be nice! 500HP V8 and 13 mpg's on the highway a tad lower at 9 mpg's in town driving.....I loose large % mpg's just sitting at a light. Good thing I don't rely on her for a commute to work every day...yikes!

Ken, your engine puts out 500hp? Your mileage doesn't seem that bad then considering the brick it has to push through the air and probably lack of extra gearing in the trans. Seems like the 97-2003 4.6/5.4 don't do a whole lot better and they are about half the power and more airodinamic.
