Exploded view of the entire parking brake system (including the handle) illustrated here:
1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog / Illustration Section 26, Page 9.
FTE member Old Harley has this catalog, can scan and post illustrations.
A local Ford dealer might still have this catalog.
You could contact obsolete parts vendor GREEN SALES CO. (greensalescompany.com-513-731-3304) in Cincinnati OH, ask them to scan, then fax or email you a copy of this illustration.
Or...this catalog is available on a CD from hipoparts.com for 22 bucks.

Posted diag. on a thread concerning the E brake equalizing bar, the thread was posted several months ago. Sorry, pic did not come out that well, being computer illiterate this is bout as good as it gets.
I am admittedly slow, and with my ole timers' senior moments I could not figure out how to reassemble the E brake by looking at the pic's. There is what I will describe as an arched square 'metal insert, or clip', which I believe to be #2786 in the pic. It has a slight arch to it and approx. 1/4" thick, and 1/2" wide, and 1/2" long. It is inserted into the E brake housing and when tention is applied to the E brake handle, or when the E brake is pulled, this 'metal insert' slides along the notches in the handle and the spring, which i believe to be #2788, forces this 'metal clip' into these notches and locks the handle in postion. Found with the E brake housing and handle removed easier for me to fiqure out. Started by placing the 'metel clip' in the E brake housing then installing the handle to determine which direction this 'metal clip' goes; can only go one way to work correctly. Then I fiddled with the spring so it applies tention on the 'metal clip' thus locking the E brake handle in position. Sorry for the pathetic explanation, it's been several yrs. since disassembled the 65's.
