Very nice. Love the color.
1979 Ford F350 Ranger Lariat 4X4, 400CI with the stock 2 BBL carborator. Warner T18 4 speed with a non divorced NP205 (?) Transfer case. Dana 60 front and rear with Limited Slip.
Made in the San Jose plant in California and lives only 20 miles from where it was made. I have had 3 79 Ford trucks in my lifetime and this particular truck was my dream truck when I was in High School back in 1979. I even still have my old binder with the words "79 Ford Trucks #1" written on the cover. Corney I know but I was only 17.
Work to be done,
6" Lift kit being added on Sept 4, Edelbrock carb and intake manifold scheduled for this winter. New dash pad and re-upholstered seat by the end of summer if not sooner. Tires and rims early next year. Paint (Same color) Next summer. It will be a period correct truck when its done and will surly turn heads.

Nice!
My wife tells me I should change my 77 color scheme to match the original factory two tones....Ummmmm....no. That would be pricey and I'd probably want to put the money in other upgrades, but as with her, love the two tone, especially on the roof. This one's a beauty. Can't wait to see it lifted.

H 1979 F-150 Standard cab short box 4x4. The paint is 16 years old now, and still looks great. It's had a very sheltered life, the inside of the bed is almost as nice as the outside. The tailgate even shuts w/o having to pull the handle. Tansplanted '70 Lincoln 460, 10.5 cr, worked heads, L&L headers, 3" exhaust w/ H pipe, Performer intake w/a 750 Holley, healthy cam, 4-speed, and 3.55 gearsets. It dyno'd 303hp and 402lb.tq.
Options are as follows;
PS n PB's
Tilt (has the correct column for a 4-speed)
AM/FM Stereo
Inside hood lock
Adjustable delay wipers
Under hood light
Glove box light
Here's some pic's
