Two Questions; Stumble and Roar
OK, two questions or concerns...
Truck Info, 2006 F350, 140k, EGR delete, SCT Tuner, Innovative tunes
First, with tow/haul on (with or without tune) I will pull out on the highway and come up to speed (65 to 70) and get what I call a stumble. I'm not hammering down to get up to speed. It is a steady slow acceleration. It will stumble twice for a split second around 50-55 mph. I have noticed this pulling 10k and empty with tow button on. Tow button off, no problem present.
Second, Between 1,800 and 2,000 rpm I get a roar. I noticed it first running 70mph and it sounded like a wheel bearing going. Then noticed that i could hear it every time going through the gears between that rpm range. So it's related to RPM's not wheel speed. Get above 2,000 or below 1,800 and it's gone. It dives me crazy because it is right at 70mph (acceptable speed for a 55mph zone, right), I could just drive faster I guess. Going slower is not an option.
Thanks for any help.
