correct atf for 97 F250 5 speed

just a simple question to confirm my thoughts.

Is synthetic necessary? Or is regular atf ok?

I believe its synthetic only, correct?

Thanks,
Joe

Dextron/Mercon

I am a firm believer in synthetic oils in the drive line.

Synthetic ATF only.. No "regular" ATF in the ZF.

I would go with a good synthetic like Amsoil or similar...
