Exhaust smell coming through A/C at stop
I am getting a bit of exhaust smell through my A/C when I stop at redlights or driving real slow. When I speed up it's gone completely. Where does the A/C pull its air from, right fenderwell? I am guessing I have an exhaust leak around the air diverter tube and maybe the a/c is sucking up the fumes while stopped. Thoughts? Also, I don't notice much difference between max and normal on the a/c. Shouldn't max blow harder and cut off outside airflow (recirculate mode)?

The A/C pulls outside air from the vent cowl in front of your windshield when in normal mode.. Very little difference in air flow will be noticed between normal and max mode. Max mode will recirculate interior air instead of pulling it from outside. Max setting will give you colder vent temps.
