Ex owner no more TIme to build a 08-10 Ex

Another vote for black and gold. It seems like so many of the conversions, like that Tim does, go for the more exotic trim levels. It would be nice to see a classic Lariat/Limited style trim.
I guess you could look into silver too, but I'm much more about the gold...

I think with a browicki flare to the Gold and Black, it would be awesum to see what he could up with.

Special look for a special truck!
O.K. I'll be that ONE guy that thinks the H-D Black/Orange looks better, I like the lines of that scheme better too, it tends to set the truck in motion. Plus the Gold/Tan kinda makes it blend in with the crowd, I know if I had done THAT much WORK on this truck I would want to set it a little apart from the crowd!

Will that be the older Harley Orange or the newer Copper look? I prefer the copper from the late model that you posted.

I have all the lower cladding on the truck and i want to keep it. It wouldn't go over the wheel arches because I have the XLT cladding and they are all straight pieces.

I like both but it just depends on what look you want for the Ex because they are very different. If you like it toned down, then the black over pueblo gold or arizona beige; if you want it polarizing, then the harley copper. I personally do not think the harley copper all the way around and on the mirrors would look good though. If you do the harley copper, try to keep it similar to how the truck is with the copper beginning at the front of the front door and streaking back.

How about just keeping it the XLT grey that you have?

With this in mind, I vote H-D again! Using the XLT cladding and wrapping the color around to the bumpers will make it look sharp and unique!
My future EX facelift plan (after all the running gear upgrades.....) is to go pseudo Eddie Bauer with my XLT cladding's grey/silver wrapping around to the bumpers, '08 rear bumper and lower section of front but keeping the bumper top green as well as swapping in a green painted grille.
