Well... I'M OFFICIALLY BOOSTED!!!!!
Traded the 93 Civic VX about 2 weeks ago for a 2000 Accord and then today traded it off for this 2001 Wolfsburg Edition Jetta! It has a boost leak (PO tried to fix the silicone boot with electrical tape) but other than that it's MINT MINT MINT!!!! Seriously thought, it's about a 6 out of 10. I pulled the bumper tonight to make sure the IC didn't have any leaks while I was at it.

Oh it's TERRIBLE! I just don't register them if I don't plan on keeping them. I don't drive them except to get them inspected or to to to sell or trade them.

This was a few days ago but I noticed some tranny fluid leaking from somewhere once we got to Antioch, IL . I had an issue a few months ago with it leaking out of the connection to the trans cooler. I checked the dipstick and it had nothing on it, completely dry. Parked the truck and waited until I could get the bike unloaded so I can run up get some fluid. Autozone, Napa, and O'Reilly's don't carry LP or SP fluid. They only had type F and Mechron V.
Found a Ford dealer and got what I needed, the truck ended up taking 4 quarts to get it back to level. I was just shocked that it was that low and I didn't have any shifting issues. Truck did get a service before we left PA and have driven to Tx and then up to IL, but I think the shop would have found that leak.

Or easy ways around them in some states.... Arkansas gives 30 days to title a car but you need insurance immediately and that's quick to get. A lot of people flip cars there without titling them even though it's technically illegal. I personally won't buy a car from someone that's not titled in their name. It can be trouble at the DMV when you find out about parking tickets, late registration fines, back taxes, liens, etc....at least if it's titled to them I know who to find if it goes south.
Just want to send a quick thanks to @Bently_Coop for his time yesterday in greasing the front hubs and rotating the tires on my Ex. Was a fairly quick job, especially when you have a nearby fellow FTE'r with all the right tools.
Thanks
Thanks

Took a car to New York this weekend. The new turbo and True Trac performed perfectly. Charged up the hills like a champ, no cavitation or loss of boost. The new wicked wheel gives me a nice turbo whine as well. I was smiling the whole time. Trans heated up to about 205 in the GW traffic but once I got going it was almost perfectly 100 over ambient the whole time.
If you tow a trailer, you need a wicked wheel on your turbo, trust me.
