What did you do to the X today?
Just got the Russell braided steel brake line kit installed and bled... very good. Real nice pedal feel, stopping is definitely more linear to input.
Enjoying the Redhead steering box- I was going to keep my stocker and not return it for the core charge because I thought it was not that terrible to drive with. After a couple hundred miles the Redhead box feels SO MUCH better that I'd never consider putting the stocker back in.
My rear A/C was starting to blow warm (front was fine), so thanks to a quick search on FTE about the symptoms, I got a thermal expansion valve and had my buddy install it; back to arctic conditions on command!
Once again, thanks to the contributors of FTE!

Another call to pick up the Ex. Still no Excursion. But the shop said it was ready. The rear doors do not line up or latch correctly. The bumper is all crooked and was a pain to mount. The rear wheel molding is separation from the new body panels. This adds up to me and my brother that the frame is bent. I wonder what Allstate will say now. 30 day and counting of no Ex.

Which Rancho's did you have? Have you tried contacting them for warranty?

Finished really scrubbing the leather seats, came out looking like new! Getting ready to drop it off next week for a couple replacement panels to be sewn into the seats. Hopefully will look much better. Also changed the armrest covers from side to side (now cracks in leather are on bottom!), Thanks to someone here on FTE for that sweet little trick! Wish I could remember who, so I could rep them!
Rancho 9000s, and yes, I did try to warranty them, went through 4Wheel parts, they would only exchange them for what I have, would not exchange for the Bilsteins I wanted, even though the Ranchos were more $$$. The kicker was, they wanted the shocks sent to them and when the received them, then they would send me the replacements!!! Nice customer service. Had a brief conversation with the Rancho rep here and was basically told to return them for replacement, but by that time three of the four had failed, so I was ready to move on to a quality product.

Last night (okay, not today) I finished the iPod integration install. The piece behind the radio was already done, I just had to run the iPod cable to the console.
I ran it under the carpet with the other console wiring, then ran it into the console via a 7/8" hole made in the console "liner". A 7/8" plug with slot and hole for the cable to come through finished the job. Now the iPod is completely out of sight.
One bit of perhaps worthless other install info. The piece that went behind the radio needed to be wrapped or secured. I found it fit into one of the foam can koozies they put in goody bags.
