What did you do to the X today?
Wax on, Wax off
Nice Centurion!
It's been about 3 years since the last wax job. I proudly still have the original luggage rack. They're a joy to wax around.
Gotta admit, the paint is less scratchy on top than the desert pinstripes on the sides.
Anyone find a solution for bubbly paint on the back door latch cover?
2nd thought, it does match the rest of the truck.
To keep this in any form of on topic, I left the Ex at home to save miles on it and took my F-150 camping this 4th of July. Ziplining, 4 wheeling, running cars off a cliff, a parade with planes flying overhead in formation...it made me so proud to be an American. Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
Finished up new plugs and COP boots. Getting to #5 does kinda suck... pulling a couple hoses off the throttle body helps alot. All came out easy. #1 is botton left going up #10 top right. Bought the truck with 50k and it has 75k now, figured it would be good time. Can anyone tell if these are the original plugs? All the ones that came out were at .062.The 6.8 purrs.
I finally got a chance to wire in the "new" running boards! I am always amazed at how clean the underside of my Ex is, I think it might even make Michael jealous
I finished it all up with giving her a bath, man was she a dirty girl, I guess that is the price I pay for living with dirt driveways...

I've narrowed my next two projects down to the following. Both would benefit me greatly in everything that I use Stan for. I would love some input!
4.30 gear swap: ~800 bucks for the parts
I've decided that I will be going with the 4.30 gears. Anyone have any input on the Detroit Auto Lockers? Worth it? No idea what the skill level required to do this would be. (I alllmmmoost want to go with the 4.56 gears)
SSBC Big Brake kit and rotors: ~1600 bucks
I've got a little bit of warping in my current rotors, and I would like to get some extra braking power for when I need it.
Also on the list of things to do on the lower cost end of the spectrum are:
Cat back exhaust for a little bit more sound (might just go with a different muffler)
Stainless steel Brake lines
Louder horn (Air w/compressor?)
Since I spent the money I was saving for a HNK Moose Knuckle Sandwich Bumper on a new puppy, I feel like that one can be put on the back burner till I cream a couple of deer. Since I'm gearing up to buy a house, I need to get some of these things taken care of sooner than later

Go with 4.56 and a Detroit Tru-Trac, that's my plan down the road a bit
