We all have the same size tank 44 gallons without mods. I get north of 18mpg if I stay at 70 mph. But at 80-85 I can still get 17.5 mpg hwy. that's a range of 792 or 770 at over 80 good luck with that gasser.

I just nipped it off with a side cutters. It's just a little "v" shaped tab up by the top blots. It's hard to see if your not looking for it.

Nope, I know, not good for our sticks.

Forgive me for being **** about this my friend and picking nits, but even with the popular in-tank mods we do, the tank capacity doesn't increase. That will never change. We can't make the tank bigger. The mods will however allow us to use that capacity easier and faster.

Lift the gasket and you'll see it near the upper mounting studs. In Canadien speak, the nub is ~3 mm. Just cut it flush and you're good to go.

Always picking on me

Lol, I'm sure it's a good mod but I'm usually ready to pull in for a break after 8 to 10 hours of consecutive Driving. I'm 3 years older than you

On another note, we've been busy on the new home of the EX and camper and boat. 40' trusses are a BEAR to put up by hand!

Looking good ^^^

I traded in a couple hand guns in yesterday for a glock 20 (10mm)
And am looking to do the same again for an FNX .45 and getting the modded mags for a capacity of 20 rounds.

To keep this post on point.....
I'm going to transport myself in the EX to break them in!

I'm thinking of also doing one of the rear storage setups that goes behind the third seat to house some survival / emergency gear.

A few of the members really made some nice ones recently.

What did you do to the X today?

Anyone with any wisdom on a 4x4 conversion please help my buddy out! Had to pull him out of a rough spot today and that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

So Brutus has been out of commission since Friday afternoon with a no start situation. He stalled out on me right as I got to the baby sitter's house to pick up my 3 year old son......I immediately set about changing out the cps since I figured the grey I had purchased at Ford might have been the culprit since the prevailing sentiment is that it really isn't too good. No dice on the cps I got from Clay at Riff Raff. I kept trouble shooting and asked the mad scientist aka Toreador_Diesel for a hand over the phone. In the meantime my wife tells me that my right rear tire is flat.....down to the rim flat.....well today was my first day that I can actually spend time working through the issues and it turns out that my no start issue was due to the tin nut that goes on the ipr had come loose allowing the spacer and magnetic cover to rotate freely....a trip to Ace and 65 cents later that tin nut was replaced with a grade 8 1/2×20 nut and it ain't going nowhere! as for the flat tire it turns out the tow truck driver ripped my valve stem and the tire bled out overnight. All in all $7.65 spent and my truck is back up running and the wife wanted me to sell and buy a Dodge Ram I had looked at years ago
