Hey before you do that, let me see if i can find my adapters i didn't need.
already done, thanks though akex! wires soldered and shrinked. ran wires into cab for turns and running light in them but havent hooked them to a source yet. everything else 100% working.
Just finished my Riff Raff order, now I get to wait for a box on the porch with yellow tape, this is just the initial order. Within the next week or so I will also be ordering the billet compressor wheel and the rebuild kit for the turbo. Trying to get everything ready for vacation where we should be towing a small travel trailer (sadly a rental) from our corner of Ohio to South Carolina, then Missouri, then back home. Might as well test it out for real.
I picked up a set of Harley wheels last night, nice clean wheels from Texas. I was hoping to find Lariat or King Ranch, anyone have set that would rather have Harley? I'm in 48134. I'm not looking to sell, just swap but I'm happy to use what I have.

Where you lucky enough to get the nuts? If so please post a pic.
^ I understand now, I'm not looking to run the HD center cap (don't have them) so I think I can run my current lugs and center caps. I did get a almost new late model set with the deal, I couldn't pass it up.
you can run your OEM lug nuts that you have now, they should have the flat washer behind the nuts. Your stock caps will fit over those but if they are the 05 and up caps I'm pretty sure the rear cap will hit the rear axle before seating on the nuts.
I believe the stock HD nuts are chromed acorns with the built in flat washer deal.

Yep, and because they were only made for the '04 trucks they are the fine thread nuts. Not sure what the solution is for early EXs with the coarse threaded lugs, mecdac is still researching it I think.

HD lugs are not acorn style they have a shank with built in washer. I believe if you use the acorn style you will not be properly staking the wheel to the hub. They are also metric and won't work with pre-2003.

Maybe we are using the wrong term here, by "Acorn" we are more referring to the OUTSIDE part of the nut that is a closed end chrome affair vs the open ended standard nut. Both the standard nuts and the OEM HD "acorn" nuts have the attached flat faced washer that sits against the rim.
Good point and thanks for pointing it out, it may save someone from a costly mistake.
