What did you do to the X today?
Brake controller just senses that the wire to the trailer brakes is no longer an open circuit and has a normal resistance; and has nothing to do with the 7 pin connector specifically...
---Earlier today on the freeway doing 5 over the limit with CC set in the fast lane with my right turn signal on and getting over---
Wendy: That guy just jumped on the highway and pulled up right next to you, pull back into the far lane.
Me: WTF, the other lane is empty!
Wendy: Just speed up and pass him so you can get over.
(our exit was 1.5 miles away)
Me: Well I keep leaning in a little more but he just stays there in my blind spot keeping up with me, ****ing *******.
Wendy:...show him your extra cylinders honey...
Me:.....Really?.....(falls in love with wife all over again)
Wendy: Stupid Avalanche, get a real truck (chuckle).
Moral of the story? I have the best wife on the forum... sorry guys

New sway bar bushings up front, apparently the wrong sized ones have been in there since I bought the truck in 11/2012. The sway bar was able to move up and down an 1/8 inch. I did swap the links a couple years ago though, and noticed the bushings still looked nice. Didn't pay attention to there size though.
Alot of the sectional road clanking has gone away. Door seal mod stuff is on order to.

Is it safe to assume we all use the same one? I have energy suspensions on the front of mine...
Ford Factory Navigation, it also controls the Heat/AC and other functions of the truck itself. I really like the unit, bluetooth works well, sync works well, backup cam is awesome.
Ex preformed Excellent on my little getaway, even wife was commenting on what a piece of crap the H2 is compared to the Ex. The passing power really is unmatched 55 to 100 comes really quick, truly a fun truck to drive.
On another note, I'm waiting on title to come in for BMW im selling it. May also sell the H2 in a few months, we are going back to our original plan of a Range Rover. I know they don't have a great reputation but we have had 3 and never had any issues. I think the key on one is to only own while its under warranty.

I can't figure in my head how you could make a relay get or turn off power to the first camera by only plugging in the 7 way.
You could run a wire from the TT battery line into the center B.U. pin of the 7 way then disconnect the bu line from your truck to the 7 way plug center pin and run a wire from that pin up to a relay the could work in a reverse way to kill the power to the truck mounted camera.......but that's making my head hurt once we get to the relay
I think a discreet on off on switch or rotating selector switch mounted in the console could work.

could you tie it into the trailer brake sense. So whenever its plugged in the relay pulls? Just spitballing. I know it lights the controller when the 7 way is plugged in, just don't know if it would work.
To add, a normally closed relay which is backwards from most would allow the camera power through when not energized d, so it would work normal until you plug in the 7 way.

Love the input!
I am not sure if there is a way to avoid a switch. I tried yesterday to bypass the reverse camera while in reverse manually on the head unit but couldn't. The reverse trigger wire to the head unit (from harness by drivers seat) is the wire that needs something.
Now if I do need to do a switch it has to be an oem switch. Some nifty little push button deal would be nice much like the power fold mirror kind of deal. I don't have the 4x4 switch so there is some room there as well as under the dash power point.
Pondering to be done.
