What did you do to the X today?
Why thank you sir! It's actually filthy right now but no sense in washing it. If it snows though i'll be driving the Excursion since i still have my snow tires on it. Now that i put my summer tires on this it'll start snowing…you watch!
OEM tires are model specific to the vehicle manufacturer from the tire manufacturer. For example if your vehicle came with Michelin LTX M/S that tire will also have a sub model designation not available as a replacement.
The vehicle manufacturers indicate what they want from the tire manufacturer and at what price (purchased by the train load). The replacement tires are almost always a better tire than the OE with the exception of certain luxury vehicle manufacturers, MB, BMW, and a few others.

If it's true that you learn something new every day, I can stop looking for something for today, I just learned something new from Mecdac!
Got my coolant cap in the mail today. Also some new bulbs for the Kubota roof-mounted lights.
Little brother got his permit back in October, but has refused to start learning to drive. He does not want to learn in the Excursion or Sequoia out of fear, so his excuse was always "I'll learn when the Jetta is back in commission". I normally let my second brother drive the Jetta during the summer and put it away when he is home for the winter. I winterized/parked it in October.
I decided to burst my little brother's bubble and dig out the Jetta today. No more excuses! But what a job.
We can see the edge of a wheel!
Progress. Dug into the door and it started up first try, even after sitting for 4 months. There was a misfire code thrown and the MIL came on, but I cleared it and it did not come back. I assume it was just the engine waking up.
Water around the oil dipstick. Why it is recessed I will never know... German engineering?? Anyways no water actually got down into the oil, so no problem there.
More progress. Looking back all the snow probably put a big load on the suspension.
All dug out, time to move. Spinnnnnn. Going to have to be pulled out by the big red brother.
The tow hook for the front is stored in the spare tire cover in the trunk. What a weird setup.
Have to remove the passenger lower grille insert to access the tow hook receiver.
I say again... weird setup. I much prefer the 24/7 Ex towhooks. To make thinks worse it was lefty-tighty righty-loosey. Took me 3 minutes of aggravation before I figured this out.
All in. Might just leave it.
Hooked up and ready to go.
I love this truck.
All done.

Thanks Ed, I appreciate the reply. I will look into that. Always appreciate your help.
Cheers

Either one of those would do just fine. We also carry another less expensive option at BatteryMinder Plus 12117. But...if you had or think you will have a 24V system in your future, I'd spring for the 24V Noco option to prevent being stuck charging the batteries individually.
Cheers
Did you by chance use the PayPal option? I tried the other day, and it kept having a popup for Riff Raff swag, and wanting me to fill out a bunch of info that would be auto filled if the PayPal option worked like it did on every other site I've been on. Aggravated me so much I didn't order the abs grease zerks I was going to. I'll make my own for the Jeep.(superduty axle)
