What did you do to the X today?
I opened the back of the Ex to grab a couple parts so I could finish up some stuff on the Wagoneer.
I started the Wag after getting the front clip back on after the motor/trans/t case swap.
It has a pair of 18 inch glass packs on it right now and that's it. Will finish up the exhaust and other little stuff in the next couple weeks.

Finally changed the front & rear diff oil and installed my Ford Aluminum cover yesterday. God only knows how long it's been since it was last changed. ( according to carfax, I'm owner #8 ) although it smelled so bad it made my girlfriend puke! (Added bonus!!) the front fill plug was previously tightened by Thor himself! I swear it had to have been at least 200ftlbs!! I had to remove the cover and vice grip it against a rear frame bolt on my semi truck and use a breaker bar along with roasting it alive with a torch before it broke loose...I used Lube Locker gaskets and they worked perfect! No monkeying around with permatex or waiting to dry etc.. Torqued it to specs and filled 'em up. No leaks no fuss! Awesome products and thanks to whoever turned me on to them!
Of course they were filled with Schaeffers oil! 3.5 bottles of this filled the rear perfectly!

Very cool either way.
I love the way you think! I had a nasty 383 stroker with headers that was pure sex when started up. Miss those old beasts and their noise
lights came with the wiring harness so no splicing required, directions on what to trim were ok ,but I had to trim more than the instructions stated. Doing it over again I would just get a header panel from an 05 to match.
Thanks!
I'm usually not a glass pack guy, but no room for anything else under the body between the frame and rocker panels.
Thanks! It's my Hobby. I build 4x4s and wheel them, sell some keep some, part some out... This one is a winter wheeler for the snow. I've got 33s on it, a locker in the rear and a LS front. Plus a set of "off-road" tire chains for all 4 tires.
I've built 2 4x4 vans, two pickups, 2 broncos, and this Wagonner so far. O, and some mods to the Excursion too. Lol
