Well going to be a couple of busy weeks ahead. Gonna go on a few road trips.

Head out to Alaska on Sunday afternoon for a week.

Russ, I will try and stop by and see you this time up. Should be able to make some time. Heading right thru town on the way to Seward monday, just don't know the timing yet, or catch you on the way back out on Thursday noonishish.

Get to have some R and R with the mississs and take her on a halibut charter.

Then back home for 1 night before loading up the X for our annual family fishing/camping trip. This time I will get better pictures of the loaded X with all our gear.

Get to put some miles on the Expy for 1 week and then the X for the other.

How did you guys go about getting the rear springs in? I'm trying to install my procomp 4inch lift and I started with the rear passenger and I can't get the shackle bolt out... nuts off and it's spinning in the shackle but it won't slide out. Can't seem to get anything to line up either.

Put a new radiator in because it turns out it WASN'T the water pump leaking. Oh well, got that one out of the way as well I suppose.

Leaving around 1pm to pull the Airstream across the state and go camping!

It has been on for almost 3 years and I still like it. It has developed a little vibration at the wind deflector at @67 mph but I am usually going faster or much slower then that so not a big deal. It probably just needs the front couple of mounting bolts snugged down. I do need to take it off one day to repaint the angle iron I used to mount it to the roof because it is starting to have some surface rust coming thru the paint. Most important is I still like it and my wife still hates it and won't drive my Ex because of it.

Pulled a driveway oil change/oil filter job. Existing oil filter was on there something fierce and turned a short job into a 3 hour job. Went down to O'Reilly's and grabbed a set of oil filter tools. Had to muscle around for a while even with the tools. Got er done though!

Nice thing about diesel around here compared to gas is that I don't have to hold the pump...

... the downside

On a sidenote, might not have to sell the Ex afterall. Picked up a second parttime job that is 12~16 hours a week and that is more than enough to maintain and fuel the Ex. People might think I'm crazy for picking up a second job just to hold onto a truck.... but they don't own an Excursion either.
