What did you do to the X today?
Didn't do anything today but yesterday put the jet black powder coated Centerline rims on the 02 No Boundaries (all black) X. Also had the center caps pounder coated jet black and got jet black lug nuts.
Now the only thing not black on it is the lights and the chrome door moldings.
My wife really likes the black rims!

Okay, with the tranny leak i feared the worst also and braced myself for "we gotta rebuild it" instead i was told everything looks great expect the front seal and bushing...we will replace and you should be good to go! that was almost a year ago and i've since brought 2 trannys to the same shop that did need a rebuild because i trust them. it only cost me about $800 and 10,000 miles later shes driving wonderful!

so tonight when i got home i had to fix the drainage to my sump pump. the under ground drain is clogged or collapsed and its been pumping the water out right next to the house. this caused a foundation leak in the finished basement...anyway made a temp fix and got it draining 10ft from the house now..then started detailing my grandmas car...its been a long day! but it was 70F and sunny i'm starting to get a sun burn from driving with the top down.
for fun i put the Olds next to the Ex...exactly the same length!
Gold Star for the day sir!!

Happened to me last fall, empty trailer but a steep grade where I had to repeatedly reposition to try to get the trailer set on the plateau in right position to tilt a 24' goal onto it, with the truck in safe enough position on the incline and not binding the hitch. Once I got it set went to put wheel chocks down and I noticed the transmission fluid dripping. I just checked the level later that day topped it off and didn't worry about it (I had read it here and knew why it was leaking). Only time it ever did it was after 10 solid minutes of repeatedly backing up an incline with the trailer.
Yes it has happened to my X before. I would let it sit for a month and come out and it dead as a door nail. It was in the winter time in South Carolina so it was pretty easy for me to find the problem. It ended up being my alternator because when I charged up the batteries let it sit for a day then went to finding the problem, I put my hand on the alternator and it was warm when it was 45* out and said that isn't right. I just swapped it out and all is good. I'm thinking it was the diode that was drawing pwr from the batteries. I have a 2002 limited 7.3 X.
I've never heard or see a rebuild kit that you can buy. Doesn't mean they don't make them just haven't seen one. If you find one let us know.
I added a hinged double license plate holder to my front bumper. The hinge allows it to move if I were to drag the nose, it also lets the plates swing back with the airflow past the Ex while going down the highway. I added it as there was not a "good" place to put the front plate. Here is a quick pic:
