I was overwhelmed by the comprehensive spring compilation as I was looking for if the 4wd and 2wd f250 spring was the same. It seems like I read on a thread that they were. I need to know before I pull the trigger! Are they ?
If what you're asking is, are the rear springs from a 4x4 interchangeable with the rear springs on a 4x2, then the answer is yes.

Rear 4x4 springs will fit your rear suspension.

Thanks Stewart. I know I read it on one of the many threads on here and I could not find it. I am going to pick up the set and will have a set of 10 k mile v's if someone is interested.

Not quite there yet but getting close. Still need to attach the headlight brackets, inner fender liners and fine tune the bumper. Needs to come back about 1" and up 1.5". I am going to have to cut a bracket off to get it to sit perfectly level since it interferes with the lower blocker bar and well its dark and I am tired. Be nice to have a couple big boys to help me position that thing!

Oh, windshield motor and cowl panel and pass. headlight wiring. Got the running and signal lights working.

Also, can anyone with an 08-10 SD please please please take a pic of their hood safety catch? It seems to pull down instead of from the side like on the 04. I can get the hood to latch, but I cannot get it to release so I am a bit confused.

Thanks guys. Tons of work into it and still a lot do do. Maybe 10 more hours for all the little details.

- then I get to wire the power fold/telescope mirror

- figure out the rear fender flares

- oh yeah, cummins conversion.

Does it ever end!

I would be interested, I'll PM you for shipping and price info. I just completed the RAS install and will be towing the TT @200 miles tomorrow. I will update when I get a chance.

I greased my "sealed" front bearings today with the insert I bought from Snowseeker. I know, no pics means it didn't happen so here they are.

I used Mobil 1 synthetic grease. After greasing I cleaned off the ABS Sensor and used a Q-tip to clean the excess grease off the tone ring in the hub. Hope it works out with no issues. Off to tow the camper @200 miles in the morning.

Yes, when you finally get to turn the key, fire up that Cummins, and go for your first official drive. You'll be saying, this makes it all worth it...

If you haven't been able to get a pic of the hood latch mechanism by next Friday, let me know and I'll get one for you.

Our friends with the white 7.3 came to visit today, and we went out to dinner. Since I was heading back to school after, I drove too.
