Hate to say it, but a GMC pulled me out. Lol. It's all good though. He's a good friend of mine, and I've had to pull him out before too. Lol.

I was smart about it when the pickup got stuck. I tried to move a bit, and all it did was go deeper so I just stopped n called for help because it's heavy and I was worried it might not come out so easy.

Tons of deferred Maint

Transmission service with both filters. Changed Oil with proper oil cap and ford filter. Replaced both idler pulleys and belt tensioner with bulletproof waterpump.

bulletproof diesel

I got Wix and it seems like the filter wasn't filtering at all. It wasn't dripping oil when I removed it. Sticking with FMC from now on.

Got this new toy. Temps seem ok. The oil cooler has never been replaced and I hope to keep it that way.

pic of the old stuff.

New Tires for the Camper. Got new Carlisle HD rubber from discount tires all around even the spare. Not cheap but I hope they serve me well. Leaving for New Mexico from Fort Worth, TX tomorrow. When the camper is hooked up to the Excursion things in life are going pretty dang good.

T minus 15 hours from departure.

Can't agree more leave next Friday with our Fifth wheel for holiday weekend. Wife is skeptical on four nights out but she recently had surgery so could be tough.

I'm for one looking forward to anytime I hook my trailer to truck to go out even for one night.

What size tires did you replace with from Discount Tire? Mind me asking what you paid per tire?

111$ per tire. With the warranty and install it was 725$ total for 5 tires. I replaced the spare too. 225/75 15's

My overhead console died on me, thanks to some threads in here I was able to tear it apart and find a bunch of loose resistors as well as some missing. Got my Google Fu on and found a guy on eBay selling them for $3.75 each. Didn't like that price so I found a supplier of the 68ohm resistors (680) that go in there, ordered a bunch so if anyone needs them let me know and I can set you up with some for .20 cents each. (Not selling them just passing my findings on to you guys that may have trouble finding them like I did

Oh yeah also ordered a new grill, and some head lights!

Switched out the hydroboost today... started leaking up front and the new one leaks from the same spot. Lesson learned, double check hoses for tiny cracks before dropping 150 on a part you probably didn't need. She's dry now, and actually stops better than before.

Almost year of messing with SCT finally got my tuner replaced and finally got the X tuned from the stock getup! It definitely "woke" her up.
