What did you do to the X today?
I have no idea how the antler grading system works. I just know it is a 10 pointer. I did measure because my father was curious, it has a 15" inside spread and 17.75" outside. One smaller tine on the left side of the pic is covered by the front tine.
Thanks everyone for the congrats!
I was shocked to find it is nearly identical to the 10 pointer I got a couple years ago out of the same stand. Must be an offspring of the last buck.
OEM alternator with over 200+k miles finally took a dump so I took it to a local rebuilder who has a great rep.
Bolted the new one on, started the Ex, checked voltage, and shut her down.
My son borrowed the rig later that night (Friday night) which was the first time it was driven after the install. When he got to work (10 minutes down the road) he called and said he saw a bit of smoke was coming from under the hood when he parked, so he popped the hood and found the underhood insulation was on fire.
It was small and just barely starting up so he smacked it out with his hands.
I had the rig towed home and I'll be pulling the alternator later today and taking it back tomorrow for a second rebuild.

My Ex alt went out on the road too, replaced with an Osmellies... 4 times before back to OEM.
