Last night (okay, not today) I finished the iPod integration install. The piece behind the radio was already done, I just had to run the iPod cable to the console.

I ran it under the carpet with the other console wiring, then ran it into the console via a 7/8" hole made in the console "liner". A 7/8" plug with slot and hole for the cable to come through finished the job. Now the iPod is completely out of sight.

One bit of perhaps worthless other install info. The piece that went behind the radio needed to be wrapped or secured. I found it fit into one of the foam can koozies they put in goody bags.

Tonight marks 14 years since Rudolph first came home with 50 miles 14 years ago. I didn't know much about him, but I knew I loved that truck and would be awesome to drive and own. 415K later, I was right and am still happy to own an awesome rig like that!
