What did you do to the X today?
I figured it added the WT rating of the bumper to the receiver hitch..... I use washers to fill the gap between the two, so it's a good tight fit!
New tires, look a little better than the dinky car tires before. Thought they would look bigger but atleast I know they're going to be way better traction wise.
Leave it to a Chev to break down and blow a brake line. Had borrowed it from the Uncle to move some junk.
Now stuck in the yard until fixed.

It's normally parked lately where the broken down Chev is now sitting, so it has to be in view for a few days haha. Pressing the brake pedal to the floor to find nothing there is definitely a harrowing experience.
Here are some pics for reference for what I switched from:
Definitely an upgrade and fills the wheel well much better.
Cheers,
Nate

I put my rear blocks back in and threw my 2" shackles back on up front. I've got 29.5" from center of wheel to fender in front and 30" center to fender in back... is that about right for what is the equivalent of a 6" lift?
Also... I've been gutting pieces off the X and sanding/prepping for a full POR15 treatment... back bumper though... one of the 4 nuts (last one left) started spinning freely as I tried to remove it... stupid rust killed the back part of the bolt now I have to remove it somehow but the only way I can get to it is by removing the license plate and barely fitting my hand in there... and I can't get a socket on it because it's the shape of a cone now from erosion... that's after only 4 winters in the rust belt, 2 of those it was in the garage except for maybe 2-3 trips...

No it was a guys county hazmat response vehicle. Nothing but the 2 front seats in it. It had a huge box with sliding shelves. Slowly trying to get it a little more usable. Unfortunately it's pretty rusty underneath. Just got done changing 2 brake lines that rusted out. Took one out putting the rear anti roll bar in and as soon as I got done with that the front to rear line just blew out.
I originally had intended to use the display on an aftermarket double din stereo, but that is on hold for now. My 6 disc in-dash changer only works when it feels like it. I may replace the stereo at some point in the future. So I bought a monitor to use with the camera until that comes...

I've got that same monitor for mine. One lead goin to a backup cam with the distance lines, and one for a full time rear view setup to give me a little better idea of whats goin on behind me. Full color and a pretty good pic.
