fun drive home tonight, 22F and pouring down rain..hello freezing rain. supposed to go until tomorrow at 6pm...ugh!

 

It got up to +28*F today and it's going to be 7* tomorrow night here in sunny Northern California.

 

i didnt think it was even able to rain at 22F+ but todays proved it!!!!

 

Parked my Ex for the night. driving my mark VII since i need to smog it tomorrow.

 

We just moved from the Anchorage area (Eagle River actually) and after being there for four years, we really miss the place, even the winters, freezing rain, the crappy never plowed downtown Anchorage roads and yes, even the S-curves traffic when driving north.

Good luck this winter, we wish we were there.

 

Cleaned the EBPS tube on the '05, it definitely seemed to like that. Drives and even idles better

I also finished the shocks on the '01. Installed some Bilsteins and it rides ever so smooth once more.

 

Finally got our first real snow of the year and my x is in the body shop! Now the cold, weather terrorists are saying it may not get above zero again till Sunday.

 

Joined the 200k club last week towing the camper to NC from CT in the wind/rain storm.

Besides 2 water pumps, cps and a fuel pump everything else has been routine.

 

I drove my EX to work today, that's a very rare thing. My wife's Honda CR-V ate a brake pad so she is now driving my rusty chebby truck till I have time to fix it on Friday.
This morning's commute was misty/light rain and 50 degrees but our state highway dept had tri-axles loaded with salt staged at interchanges along the interstates. Not sure what weather report they were listening to. Thankfully they haven't dropped any salt around here yet this season.

 

Got to get her ready to head west next, Hopefully Arizona.

 

All this talk of road trips

The 6.0 will be getting it's legs stretched next weekend when we head to San Antonio to attend a soiree and getaway for the weekend.

 

Denver was a tad chilly.
I know my GP's work, but I still plug it in. No sense trying to do a hard start if I don't have too!
-4 on the start up, (wind chill of -15 to -20 depending on your side of town.)

 

Now don't go ribbing on me about drivin a Chevy. It's a work truck.

With wind chill it's like -26
