and here is the link to them. great product at a great price
1999-2007 Ford F350 Truck Power Heated Signal & Clearance Light Telescoping Upgrade Mirror Pair at 1AAuto.com

they came with a pigtail adapter to work with 2000-2001 models. 2002+ models don't need the adapter. your 2001 will need to have the blinker wiring routed.

Drove the 6.0 Excursion to work and did something I've been wanting to do for a long time.....

Park in the parking garage....

With the lift, the '01 has always been too tall, but the '05 fit with room to spare.

Hard to lie about this one heh heh.
My Lie-O-Meter doesn't work but I just returned from a Florida trip and got a hand calculated 17.2 mpg for the trip...best tank was 19.0...not too bad for such a big truck.

$447, Russ? Which ones were you looking at? That sounds about $100 bucks too much.

If you want the power telescoping mirrors, you'll probably have to go with an OEM set. I'me not saying they don't exist, but I've yet to see an aftermarket set that had the power telescoping feature.

Just installed my RAS, it gave me 3/4 inch lift in rear with zero air in bags. Been driving her with full tank of fuel and 15 lbs of air in the bags. ( about 1 inch gain).. Rides much smoother than using the airbags to gain the 1 inch I wanted to achieve. I'm very happy with this setup, I'd never heard of anyone else trying it so WTH was my attitude. Glad I went for it.

Don't the air bag manufacturers say to keep at least 5 or 10 PSI in the bags to prevent some sort of damage?

I think your speed reading got you again Stewart! Russ is talking about the $359 1AAuto.com mirrors plus the $87 shipping to him up in the 49th state. Dogsled transort isn't cheap!

I removed, repaired and reinstalled my drives side door lock actuator It hasn't worked since I got the truck last year and it's SO nice to have it. I stood there in my driveway for like 5 minutes just screwing with it once it was done

Idk y everyone likes air bags so much.

They provide extra leverage on the frame when pulling a trailer, and in extreeme cases, can bend the frame a bit.

Replaced the VGT pigtail with a new one as the old one was gross and brittle and falling apart. Now I got a happy turbo.

Tom, you are 100% correct... I just aired down to zero for the measurements, but I have to maintain at least 10 lbs while underway. Rides smooth up to 20 lbs. I wouldn't lie to ya

I'm with you on this, my new to me EX had them on. Figured I would leave them on and only use if towing with some stupid heavy tongue weight. ( I hate the Pre-runner look and Prius too ).

I just let the *** end sag with heavy loads. Doesn't matter to me. Before I redid my rear springs, it would sit on the bumpstops quite a bit. With my new springs I put in, with 750 lbs on the ball it only drops about a inch.

Rides kinda rough tho.
