Hood badging says 51'. Someone more versed in the 51-52's will probably be along to answer better than me

Yes, as noted, near as we can tell by the information provided, it's a 1951.

most likely scrap metal i just don't have room/time/money for any projects at the time. the cab had about 6" of rat/mouse poo in it. the flathead has sat with the heads off for well over 30 years. i will get better pice of it in a few days.

Don't do it. Put it up on Craigslist. If the price is low enough, you may get a response.

The cab and the rest of the front end parts are worth something. Is there any possibility of removing the cab and the rest of the sheetmetal and then scrapping the rest?

Where in CA is the truck?

yes please give someone a chance at it. List it on craigslist for what you would get in scrap. That is one cool truck. If i was closer I would give you scrap price for it for sure.

truck is currently in the forrest outside of colfax. after the box is emptied and removed and i will be towing it to sacramento for it's one week stay on cl before it goes. i tried the cl thing on a corvair van that was solid and had only one response, and he kinda wanted it for free. i will get some better pics today.

I might be interested when you get it to Sacramento and depending on the price and condition.
