I have a 2004 Ford Excursion 6.0 with 70,000 miles and have problem. We recently went on vacation and didn't drive it for about a month. I got in it the other day and driving down the road, it fell on its face. I had the pedal to the floor and it just stalled out and finally took off. Since then it has done it a few times. I have changed all of the fuel filters and religiously use additive. What could this be? Is it bad fuel or do I have a problem?

 

I would suggest that you take this to the 6.0 forum, there are a lot of people there who have a really good feel for most 6.0 problems. Mike
