Here's the story line from The Anchorage Daily News:
A black bear cub whose family was sniffing around a chicken coop got himself caught in a dip net at a Hillside home this week, prompting competing rescue attempts by mother and homeowner. The homeowner used his truck to pull the net back from the tree line, but the growling momma bear wouldn't let him close enough to cut the net. Eventually, the man uses his pickup to pin the net on the ground, allowing the mother bear to rip the cub free from the net and pull her cub into the woods. ~ Video courtesy Dane Havard
