If it was, looks like it should be close!
If it is then the rods may be on the wrong side, if they are too different sizes.
Thats what i think the rods are on the wrong side.

I get 3 full turns, so i split that in half. The pics show where the ends are at the zero spot.

Your rack is mounted the only way it can be. Has your supplier responded to your query yet? Something is definitely out of whack. Sorry I don't have any answers for you.

If your rack is like mine, the rods just threaded into a coupling. All that maybe needed is to unthread each of them and reinstall on opposite side.

Here is a pic of a manual rack and pinion were the rack joins onto the tie rod. This one has the 1.5" extension coupling(brass color piece with the grub screw), I think you may have too drive out a roll pin to separate the tie rod from the rack. It should be just that easy! Good luck.

Top pic is the pass side and you can guess the bottom pic? LOL

Still have not heard from Fulltilt about the rack. Im going to change the sides and see what happens. I tried to loosen the pass side but the shaft whats to turn, im guessing i will have to hold the other side as well? The extension looks like it just bottoms out on the threads, no lock screw or springpin. The ohter side has the factory look i think with the springpin.

if you turn the rack out in the drivers direction you should have enough to hold the base shaft.. repeat for passenger side
