its that big because i aint dainty dave. and as for mountin solutions, i wanted the lights where they will be protected. but the tools and facilities at my disposal (none) did not allow it. the round lights on the outside are the only ones really at risk anyway, cause the way they are on there, they stick out a little bit, but there was no way around that. the big ones in the middle on the other hand, if you notice, are actually behind the top bar, where they are less likely to get damaged.
and heres a little background for ya.

When you're awsome enough to be a ND'er, you're population numbers don't have to be so high. lol
True, I almost forgot, hahaha. Looks like you shuld be carrying that torch.
I just got off of work a little bit ago, kicking back with a brewski and catching up on the 'net.

Hello everyone! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Thanks again Dave for all your help; truck's running great! So nice not having to worry about the engine hitting the firewall. haha. Plus I can now use my overdrive again.

Might have found some parts to convert the front axle to the newer(better) style outers....
Parting out 1990 F150.. 351w, 5spd, 4x4 | Bismarck, ND Classifieds
I messaged the guy to see how much he would want for the front axle.. with the 3.55 axles part, I guess I just assume that means its a 4x4

Yeah it rides much smoother and the power increase is very noticeable. Like I said I can even use the overdrive in most cases, which hasn't been used since the tire change. Plus when I floor it, it climbs the rpm's much smoother and consistent. Before it seemed to hesitate and kinda felt jerky while flooring it; but that could be the solid motor mounts helping here. Sound is nice, not to loud but also not restrictive. Love it!
That would be nice to convert over rate away. I sure hope he's reasonable price wise. Let me know what he says. I wonder what part I will all need to convert over.
