I don't think it will work on an '03 without getting it reburnt. If you will get me your pcm code I'll ask Jody to make sure. I don't have it listed on powerstroke.org. I do have it on Forddieselpower.com and powerstrokenation.com

You will need to pull your PCM and write down the code on the sticker. It should be 3 letters and 1 number. Such as PMT1.

Here is a video on installing a chip. These are the same steps when removing a pcm.
Diesel Movies - I install a DPTuner F5 chip in my buddies truck. Positions were Stock hi idle 60tow 80econo 120 race 140smoke.

Guys this is the F6 not the F5.

From DP Tuner's website;

the F6 will allow you to never have to remove your chip from your vehicle to download updated programs, download new or trial tunes from your "my tunes" section under your registered website account. A special feature for the F6 Smart chip is Try, then buy. Trial tunes can be downloaded form your my tunes section and used for 10 key cycles. To purchase Please call us and let us know you want it. No updates to the chip will be necessary. The chip was designed with this in mind.

All you would have to do is register at DP Tuner's website. It's free and Jody uploads all of your tunes there so you can download them anytime. We need to make sure that your PCM code will work first. I think that your '03 will require reburns. If so that would cost you more money and I don't want to take advantage of you. I'll find out what the cost would be if it does need to be reburned and will go from there.

i am interested. The only way to tell if it will fit my truck is pulling the PCM, or is it possible to to find out by the vin # Its a 2000 f250, 7.3, 4x4 automatic. The f6 can be tuned via the email from RIffraff, correct?

Yeah, you need to pull the pcm. It only takes about ten minutes, so it's not too bad. I'm 99.9% sure that it will work, but I'd rather know for sure. I think you can buy the tunes from Riffraff via email. But, I know you can buy them online via email straight from DP Tuner.
