Hey everyone. I am looking for a frame for my 56 project. I bought the truck with a longbed frame and i want the look of a sort bed so i will be swaping. I know about the "z" cut method and i would hate to have to do this. Not my style.

My question is where can i get a short bed frame. im guessing 53-56?

How much am i looking at spending? I have heard $100


and if anyone in interested in a long bed frame feel free to message me.


I am ont the east coast and travel frequently between delaware and Charlotte NC so anywhere close to this is my area

I think $100 is on the cheap side. Especially, for a short bed.

 

I paid $300 a couple years ago for one at a salvage yard, they had to cut the cab and other items off then loaded it into a trailor for me. They allowed me to go through the yard and pick the one I wanted.

 

Watch EBay and craigs list. Best to find something you can go pickup yourself. I found a 56 frame for 150 dollars about three hundred miles from the house. Ebay will show the distance from you and with craigs list you can pick locations you want to search.
