The 6.0 is a good engine. My wifes excursion has 120k. the only problems that it has had is a oil leak (fixed) and a sensor go bad. It has been tuned for the last 40k. sct w/ canned tunes.
The 04 F350 that I had had a few problems. But they were all taken care of under warranty. I did install studs when it had gaskets done. I ran it hard after that with erics extreme race as a daily drive tune.
