F150/Bronco 5spd 4x4 transmission

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $450
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): S2000, CL, TL & Vigor
Item Condition: WA
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped
Engine: Part suitable for gas truck

Great condition gearbox from my 4x4 '95 F150. Fits light Ford truck vehicles from 1987 up through about 1996 with 5sp manual trans. Known as either M50D, M5R2 or Ford # F1TA GC C561243. Bolts up to all Ford engines with the SBF style bolt pattern such as the 351W, 302 or the 4.9L. This transmission fits 4wd vehicles only and it does not include a transfer case, clutch assy. or slave cylinder. Includes shifter stick assy. but rubber boot or shift **** not included.

Unlike most of these you see for sale that are burnt up or are in need of rebuilding this trans is functioning great and can be installed and driven as it is. I just installed a ZF in my truck as I needed the granny gear.

I can pack it for shipping. Location is Seattle

wreckless...have you personally used this xmsn, or did you just swap the ZF in first? What's the cost to ship to 85367?

EDIT:My Bad, I re-read your post...Did I read it right (the 2nd time!), that you took this working XMSN out of your '95 truck and swapped in the ZF due to need for the granny gear?

Can I get the Ford P/N off the tranny...a detailed picture would of it would be great.

Doug

Doug, yes, I pulled this from my '95 F150 and it was working fine. It was full of fluid and the plugs on the top do not appear to have ever leaked. I have not owned the truck a long time but the previous (and original) owner seemed to have maintained the vehicle very well and had not put much, if any, strain on the chassis. It didn't even have a trailer hitch. I put the Ford part# in the original post #F1TA GC C561243. I'll try and determine a ship cost to Yuma, AZ. What part of the trans do you want a more detailed pic of, the ID tag?

checking FedEX, 3 day service (rough quote) $135

Man am I showing my @$$ or what?...yes, I see that you included the part#...I must be losing it!!! The pics you posted are more than ample...how's the shaft's radial and end play? How many miles were on it when you swapped it out for the ZF ?

rush shipping not required...best price means more.
P.S. i'm new to this site...is there a "private message" feature? I'm not seeing it

Click on my name and you should see an email function. Truck has 147k miles, I'll have to check the input shaft tomorrow and let you know. A regular freight company might be cheaper but not sure who we would use.

Yup, the trans is back in the corner of the shop waiting for its next assignment! I've made zero effort to sell it. The original transfer case is still in my truck on the back end of my ZF. T/cases are easy to find if you need one of those.
