Question 17" Lightning wheels on the '88 4x2 F150

Can I run '93-'95 Lightning size (275/60/17) tires and wheels on a '88 4x2 F150 pickup? What suspension pieces do the '93-'95 Lightning pickups use and does it effect the towing capabilities of the F150?

If you put a low profile tire on the truck it will lower your towing capacity, you'd have to find out the load rating of the tire. I also assume that you are going to lower..or have lowed the truck. That also reduces your towing capacity as there is much less suspension travel.
