is the MAF a restriction?

I have been reading but have not found a definite answer. I see that larger TBs don't work well for towing/DD applications but have not seen any info (hopefully dyno sheets) on the MAF. Also any live experience is REALLY WELCOME.

thanks

No "live" experience with it, but I'd say "no" the MAF is not a restriction. Well, maybe theoretically, it is.

But if you go to a larger MAF, you need to run a new tune, get dyno time, you name it. And with a larger MAF, you would lose some accuracy in the lower RPMs, I'd think.

Unless you have a blower or turbo, it's not going to do much going to a larger MAF.
