You can always come up with an excuse not to jury duty. My wife got a letter last year for duty, and didn't end up going.

It is actually 2 hands full. This is more than a full time job. With work you get breaks from it, at the end of the day you go home, but this is a totally different world. Kudos to all the moms out there that raise families. The best part tho are the benefits, especially when the 2 yr old runs up, climbs on your lap and has hugs and laughter with play in his eyes for ya!

I am glad you enjoy it. Do you have any kids that are old enough to give you a helping hand?

Oldest is 11. They all help in their own way. We are old school parents, so they all have chores that they help with.

Thats good. My parents weren't the best at making us do chores. For the most part, I helped out, but my sister was very good at getting out of her's

As a volunteer first responder for many years, it was an exemption for jury duty, I was never called!

In Canada, you can murder someone in cold blood and be out in three years, if they even find you guilty.

I don't even know why the cops try to do their jobs, when the courts around here release the criminals anyways.

I don't want to have any part in that!

I think and say that you will spend less time in the lock up if you kill someone compared to killing your pet. I would not be able to be a cop up here in Canada. You spend more time doing paper work than the criminal in the slammer.

Kinda scary what people can get away with.

They should let me make the laws and be the judge
