War Eagle

Here's a little tip for you guys.
If you're looking for something to do with Mom this weekend, the War Eagle Craft Fair is going on near Springdale this weekend. 3 days of Fun!
My wife and I will be there with her wind chimes, and we'll have the '61 F100 pulling our '74 Scotty Hilander for the first time. The trailer's not restored yet, but I've got it to the point where it's better than a tent.

You know, the 20+ years that I've lived in Ft. Smith...I've never been to War Eagle. I know I've been near by (Hwy 412)...but never been there. I'm not the craft type...but my mother is and I've heard my wife mumble that she'd like to go as well. Won't be this year...way too busy this weekend.

Well, the weather held out, the fair was smaller than in the past(vendor wise)but we did pretty good with the wind chimes.
The only down side was the brakes going out on the truck Wed. night so we had to tow the trailer up there with my wife's Jeep. Trailer was blast and we're looking forward to more trips.
Zack, the next show is in Oct. and that's the big one. If you get roped into taking the wife, that'd be the one to hit. If you don't like crafts, there's always the food...they even had the fried twinkie's this time around!
