My question is for anyone in the Orlando area. If anyone knows of any work he could get part time please e-mail him at justfitz4130@yahoo.com or me at beast428pi@yahoo.com He is experienced in photography, landscaping, restaurant cooking and carpentry, cabinetmaking. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Hey there Beast428, I live about 2 hrs from Orlando, and I do not know anyone up that way. Maybe someone in that area will offer some advice or help. If I find myself up that way, I would be happy to stop and visit with him for a bit and buy him a lunch, or dinner and just give him some time to talk with someone with a good ole PA accent!! We could say all those Pa slang words like pop, and gum-band, Pierogie, Steelers, Etc.

Hey Beast,
I'm also from PA, born and raised there for 34 years, but we have now been in Florida for almost 10 years now ( will never go back to snow)
We lived and worked in Orlando for over a year ( I worked at SeaWorld as a Water Quality Tech) They are always looking for part time, or short term people and its a fun place to work as well and will work around peoples schedule. Just a thought, there is alot of part time work in Orlando, just have him look around.
Best of luck

cmcowboy, where in Pa are you from? I grew up in a small town called New Kensington, about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh. Thanks for the help, I'm sure things will work out for the young man.

I grew up in the SMALL town of Lawrenceville PA in Tioga county right on the NY state line. Basically up there in the middle of no where.
Did you just replant yourselve to Florida or have you been here a while?
Yea I'm sure the young guy can find something over part time.

Thanks guys. He has been there since 1st of feb. All he has for transportation is a bicycle so what he gets has to be close to where he lives. I dont know where he is in relationship to sea world. When he gets a job it will help my wallet. ha ha

He should be able to pick up a cheap scooter to run back and forth to work. You can drive them all year here, but his Harley buddies may bust his stones a bit!

If he is going to UTI, he is about 2 to 3 miles from SeaWorld, he would have to go South on Orange blossom trail to Central Fl Parkway and head west toward I4 and he would run into SeaWorld.
Also all up and down Orange Blossom Trail there is alot of fast food places, and just north of him is the florida turnpike with some hotels?
Good luck to your wallet.

Him and his cousin ride their bicycles every day and then go out for bike rides on the weekends. They are eating real light and riding a lot so they are losing weight like crazy. He now wants me to sell his truck and send him the $$$ so he can buy an older sportster to ride.

That sounds all right about selling the truck and buying a motor bike. But then he has to remember it takes $$$ to put gas it, Oh but wait dear old dad would be there for that right

He should be able to find some sort of part time job over there, unless he is being picky about what it is

At this stage he cant be picky. Dad aint footing no bill. He wants to do it on his own he says. We gave him some seed $$$ but the rest is up to him. We know he will do it, we can tell by his grades , attitude and this seems to be the best thing that life has brought him so far. The way he is going he is going to be at the top of his class. All he needs is some kind of work.
